Thanks go to David and Karen Fuller for their generous donation of tools, equipment, bricks and a Bunnings voucher to the year 6 Project Club. The year 6 students have been working hard this term to setup vegetable gardens in our greenhouse area, as well as helping to mulch existing gardens and improving the grounds where possible as part of their studies into sustainability. Last Friday 21st August the year 6 students had a project club working bee including a sausage sizzle. On the menu was salad made from some of the many cos lettuces that we harvested earlier in the week. Thanks go to the parents who made the salads for us. The students and teachers of year 6 want to say how much we appreciate and value the generosity of members of the parent body who have contributed to our project club this year. The recent hot weather has provided optimum growing conditions for our vegetables. Take a look at photos taken today (Monday 24th August) of our gardens. click HERE... to see all the photos.
