2010 Aspley State School Cross Country 15 April

CROSS COUNTRY - THURSDAY 15TH APRIL 2010

Where: The park along Ben Lomond Street, Aspley.

Transport: Students will walk down to the park in their class groups and with their classroom teacher

Year 7 - 9.00am 3km
Year 6 - 9.20am 3km
Year 5 - 9.40am 2km
Year 4 - 9.55am 1km
Year 3 - 10.10am 1km
Note: A 1km course will be marked out in the park.

CHILDREN WHO WISH TO TRY OUT FOR THE SCHOOL TEAM (10YRS AND ABOVE) AND/OR FOR AGE CHAMPION ARE TO RUN IN THEIR CORRECT AGE GROUP.
The District Cross Country is on the 4th May at Pine Rivers. We are permitted to nominate 6 runners in each age group.

Reminders: * wear house T-shirts, running shoes, sunscreen and a hat (which may be taken off for the run)
* bring a water bottle, towel to sit on and asthma puffers if you are asthmatic (parents may like to bring a chair) *Everything is to be named.

House Points: All runners receive at least 1 point for their house, with place getters receiving more.

If you have any concerns about the Cross Country please see your child's class teacher.

Parents are welcome to attend and assistance is required to help supervise along the course. Please contact the school office if you can assist.
